What is HDR (High Dynamic Range)?
HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a function that shows as close as possible to what the human eye sees, from the brightest place to the darkest place.
The HDR function works correctly when you connect the monitor to an external device that supports HDR and play the contents that support HDR.
If the word ‘HDR’ is not displayed on the screen, check the HDR settings on the external device or PC connected to the monitor.
Note
  • HDR content may not work properly depending on the Windows settings.
Check the HDR On/Off settings in Windows.
  • When the HDR function is turned on, the character display or picture quality may not be great, depending on the graphics card performance.
  • Depending on the graphics card performance, changing the monitor input or power on/off
while HDR function is being turned on may cause screen flickering or screen blurring.
  • For HDR support for graphic cards and games, refer to your graphics card and game manufacturers' website.
