LG Projector - Won’t Power On

Follow this guide to troubleshoot a beam projector that does not power on.
If your projector still does not turn on after following these steps, it may indicate a malfunctioning component.

Check the LED Power Indicator

If the power indicator is illuminated in red, press the power button on the remote control again.
The beam projector may not have received the remote control’s signal.
If the beam projector still does not power on, press the power button on the projector itself.

If using the power button on the beam projector turns on the device, it could indicate an issue with the remote control.
Troubleshoot the remote control in the following ways.

First, replace the remote control batteries.

Replace the batteries with new ones.
Batteries can run out of charge over time.
Insert the batteries according to their polarity, the remote control will not work if the batteries are inserted incorrectly.

Replace the remote control batteries with new ones and ensure they are inserted according to their polarity.

After replacing the batteries, check the infrared (IR) signal from the remote control.

Open the camera app on your Android phone.
Point the remote control towards the camera lens and press the power button on the remote.
If you see a bright light on your smartphone screen while pressing a button on the remote control, the remote is sending an IR signal as it should.
(Note: This test may not work with iPhones.)

Use your phone's camera feature to verify whether the remote control sends an IR signal.

If you don't see a light when you press the power button, the problem may be with the remote control.

If the LED power indicator on the beam projector is not illuminated, check power connections.

Ensure all adapter and power cable connections at the back of the product are secure.

If the beam projector still does not power on, check the power outlet.
Test whether the power outlet is receiving power by plugging in another appliance, such as a hair dryer or phone charger.
If the outlet does not work, try plugging your beam projector into a different power outlet.

Beam projectors with built-in batteries may have a separate power on/off switch to protect the battery.
Make sure this switch is turned on.

Change the direction of the battery switch on the beam projector to ON.
