LG Refrigerator - Dispenser Operation (LPXS30866)
[Narrator]Enjoy great tasting ice and water from your LG refrigerator because operating your dispenser has never been easier.
To dispense cold water or ice, press on the dispenser switch to select from crushed ice, water, or cubed ice.
Place your glass or any container as close to the dispenser spout or chute as possible.
After dispensing, hold your copper container beneath the dispenser for a few seconds to catch all of the drops.
From large amounts of ice, open the refrigerator door to access the icemaker compartment.
Pull this lever down to open this door, and from underneath the ice bin, lifts up to pull the entire bin out.
Dump the ice into a large container or party bowl when needed.
Make sure to put the ice bin back into place when you're done.
The Ice Plus function increases the ice production capabilities of your ice maker.
When you press the Ice Plus button, the icon will illuminate for 24 hours and will automatically shut off after the 24 hour period.
During this time your refrigerator is pumping additional cold air into the ice maker.
You can also stop this function manually by pressing the button one more time.
If you wish to shut off the ice maker for an extended period, you can do so by pressing and holding the ice maker button for 3 seconds.
To resume ice production, press and hold the ice maker button again to turn the ice maker back on.
The lock function disables every other button on the display, this helps prevent your refrigerator settings from being changed.
Press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds to enable the lock button.
If you would like to deactivate this setting, press and hold a button for another 3 seconds.
You can also illuminate the dispenser area by pressing the light button on the left side of the control panel.
The indicator light will appear on the LED display.
Press the button again to turn the light off.
Please note, that the dispenser will not operate when either of the refrigerator doors are open, or if the control panel is locked.
