If the door handle(s) become loose on your LG refrigerator, this can indicate the handles were not installed properly. Loose handles can be easily resolved by properly realigning the handle(s) and tightening the screws.
- Units shipped with disassembled handles will required a 3/32 ” and ¼” Allen wrenches only.
- Units shipped with assembled handles will require 3/32”, 1/8”, and ¼” Allen wrenches.
- If you are unable to tighten these bolts so that the handles attach firmly, then your refrigerator may require service. Please reach out to our 24/7 Chat Support to schedule a repair.

Assembling Refrigerator Handles
1 If needed, reassemble the mounting fasteners on the door with a ¼” Allen wrench.
2Place the handle on the door by fitting the handle footprints over the mounting fasteners and tightening the set screws with a 3/32” Allen wrench
