If your LG refrigerator doors are not closing properly it is likely due to one of these common reasons:
- The refrigerator shelves are assembled incorrectly.
- There is a foreign substance on the door gasket.
- The door gasket fell off.
Try this
Is there so much food in the refrigerator so that the door does not close properly?
The door may not close properly due to a lot of food stored inside the refrigerator or a food container blocking the door.
Rearrange the food and containers and check if the door closes.
Does the refrigerator door not close because the refrigerator shelves are not assembled properly?
If the position of a drawer or a shelf is changed after cleaning the refrigerator, the refrigerator door may not close properly.
Does the door gasket have a foreign substance so it won't attach to the refrigerator properly?
If there are foreign substances on the surface of the door gasket, the door may not close properly due to poor adhesion.
Wipe the door gasket with a towel soaked in warm water to remove the foreign substance.
Does the door gasket fall off so that it doesn't attach well to the refrigerator door?
If the door gasket becomes sticky due to a foreign substance, it may partially fall off or become loose.
In such cases, remove the foreign substance from the door gasket and reinsert the door gasket into the groove on the refrigerator door.
※ If there is no food or shelf issue, there may be problems with a hinge, so it is recommended that you request an LG service.
