Try This
➜Activate the Control Lock
Press and hold the *Lock button for 3 seconds. This will prevent the dispenser from operating when the lever is pressed.
- Location of the *Lock button will vary depending on your model
- You will hear a beep when you press the button. Press & hold it for 3 seconds until a second beep is heard.
- While the lock is active, all controls on the panel will be unresponsive.
➜Clean the dispenser area and the dispenser lever
- Dampen a soft towel with water and a mild detergent and wipe away any buildup and/or residue around the dispenser lever.
- When done, wipe dry with a clean towel to prevent staining.
DO NOT use water to wipe over the control panel.
➜Try using the dispenser again
- Unlock the control panel and place a cup under the dispenser.
- Press the dispenser lever for 2 seconds to dispenser water into the cup and let it go.
- If the dispenser continues after the lever is released, open the refrigerator door to force stop the dispenser and reactivate the control lock.
