Using the Auto Power feature
The Auto Power feature automatically turns on/off the soundbar when you turn on/off the TV or an external device.
When the connected device turns on, the soundbar also turns on and selects the function that matches the input signal.
How to enable/disable Auto Power
The status display on the soundbar will change to "OFF-AUTO POWER" or "ON-AUTO POWER".
Use the up and down buttons on the remote control to enable or disable the Auto Power feature.
The status display will show 'OFF-AUTO POWER' or 'ON-AUTO POWER' to indicate the current setting.
Some remote control models have a dedicated Auto Power button. Press the Auto Power button to set the function.
To disable the Auto Power function, press the button again.
If your remote control has separate Auto Power On and Auto Power Off buttons, you can enable or disable the function using the corresponding button.
If the Auto Power function cannot be set using the soundbar remote control, it can be set via the soundbar app.
To set the function, the soundbar and LG Soundbar App need to be connected. The method for setting the function may differ depending on the soundbar model connected to the app.
