No audio from an external sound system is normally caused by an incorrect source, improper input, or an inadequate volume level.
- If the system does not power on, refer to Device Has No Power.
- If the system speakers play sound, but your wireless subwoofer does not, refer to Connecting Your Wireless Subwoofer.

1Ensure the TV and Sound device are powered on.
2Launch one of the Internal TV apps on your LG TV.
3Ensure the volume on the TV and sound device are turned up to 10 or higher.

Power Cycle the TV
1Power off the TV.
2Power the TV back on.
3Go to the App you wish to use.

Check the Connection
1Power off the TV.
2Disconnect the HDMI cable of the connected devices from the LG TV for 3 seconds then reconnect it to the HDMI eARC/ARC port.
3Power the TV back on.
4Ensure the external sound device is on the correct input source.
5Confirm the TV’s Sound Out setting is set to HDMI ARC.

AV REset
The AV Reset will reset all picture and sound settings to factory default.
1Exit all internal apps and menus of the TV.
2Press the [Mute] button repeatedly on the LG remote until [Select a Menu] appears.
Note- The details of the AV Reset menu may vary depending on the model.
- Performing the AV Reset will reset all Picture and Sound Settings to the Factory default settings.
3Once the menu appears, select [AV Reset].
4Relaunch a Internal TV app and turn up the TV volume.
