Causes and Symptoms
- Your clothes may have temporarily lost their shape after absorbing moisture.
- Lint was generated due to friction between clothes while Styling.
- The interlining of the suit or of similar clothes is not as securely attached as it was previously.
- Delicate fabrics such as fur or leather may have been improperly cleaned using the [Refresh] cycle.
Textile fibers may lose shape when they absorb moisture.
Woven fabrics may shrink or stretch by approximately 3%, and knitwear by about 5%.
The result is that areas around the seams shrink and become wrinkly.
If the clothes have interlining, they may become unglued, causing the clothes to appear rippled.
However, these deformations are not permanent; they are temporary and natural changes in the fabric due to moisture absorption, a characteristic that varies by textile material.
Clothes made from heat- or moisture-sensitive fabrics such as fur or leather can experience shrinkage or damage when using the steam function.
Therefore, it is recommended to use an appropriate cycle for these types of garments.

Did your clothes shrink or stretch after Styling?
➔ Use the shelf when Styling knitted wear.
To restore woven textile that have temporarily lost shape due to absorbing moisture, steam iron them or wash them using a neutral detergent.
To prevent knitwear or wool clothing from stretching, place them on a shelf rather than on a hanger, and use the [Wool/Knit] cycle.
Textile fibers woven with overlapping threads can change shape when they absorb moisture, depending on the weave.
This does not mean that your clothes are damaged; it is instead a temporary phenomenon.
Clothes that have shrunk can be steamed to create space in the fabric's structure,
while clothes that have stretched can be washed with a neutral detergent to tighten the fabric's structure, restoring the clothes to their original shape.
Have wrinkles formed along the seams of your clothes after Styling?
➔ This is a natural occurrence caused by the temporary shrinkage of fibers that have absorbed moisture.
The Styler uses steam, which can cause the fibers and threads in the seams to temporarily shrink when they absorb moisture. As a result, wrinkles can appear along the seams.
Unless there was a sewing issue originally, most clothes with such wrinkles can be restored to their original condition through ironing.
Are there ripples on your suit or similar clothes after Styling?
➔ Iron the suit to ensure that the glued interlining and the outer fabric do not separate.
Adhesive used in the interlining and outer fabric may temporarily detach when exposed to moisture.
Additionally, if the clothing is old or has been washed many times, the adhesive may wear out,
causing the interlining to detach easily, especially with the movement of the Styler’s moving hanger.
In this case, make sure to completely dry the clothes and then iron any areas with bumps to reattach the interlining and outer fabric.
Unless there was an adhesive issue initially or the outer fabric and interlining became misaligned during washing, you can usually reattach them through ironing.
Are there lint left on clothes after Styling?
➔ Make sure to leave sufficient space between clothes that are likely to generate lint before operating the Styler.
The Styler’s moving hanger swings up to 200 times per minute, which can cause clothes to collide and generate lint.
Therefore, it is important to identify the clothes that are likely to produce lint, such as those made from acrylic, and place them sufficiently apart before operating the Styler.
Did you clean delicate fabric such as leather or fur using [Refresh]?
➔ Check the care label and use the appropriate cycle for garments that are not suitable for water washing.
Fabrics such as fur, leather, or silk, which are susceptible to deformation or discoloration when washed in water, require a special cycle.
