LG Styler - How to Remove Wrinkles and Odor From Clothing

  • Troubleshooting

Do you wish to know about how to remove wrinkles or dusts from clothes by using Styler?

LG Stylers use patented steam function and moving hanger technology to remove dusts and odors.
Moving hangers move about 200 times per minute to shake off dusts and odor particles. At the same time steam is released to dampen dust so they drop to the floor.
According to the results of certification tests by the KATRI, by using the [Refresh] cycle of Styler,
you can remove odors 8 times more effectively than when you just leave your clothes at room temperature.

Try this

If you want to unfold wrinkles on the clothes, select the [Refresh] cycle.

➔ After zipping up and buttoning up the clothes, hang them in the Styler and select the [Refresh] cycle.

Using the [Refresh] cycle
1. Before using the Styler, straighten the clothes using your hands. Make sure to zip up and button up the clothes.
2. Insert the hangers into the slots of the moving hanger, with the front sides of the clothes facing each other.
3. Select the [Normal] setting of the [Refresh] cycle.
If the clothes are much winkled, select the [Heavy] setting.
Selecting standard mode in the styling menu

To remove wrinkles on pants, select the [Downloaded cycle] using the [Special Care] button.

➔ If no [Downloaded Cycle] is available on your model of Styler, the Pants Crease Care cycle can be added using the LG ThinQ app.

Choosing a download course

To remove odors in clothes, use the [Refresh] or [Sanitary] cycle.

➔ For light odors, refer to the method above for using the [Refresh] cycle.

If odors have deeply penetrated the clothes, it is recommended to use the [Sanitary] cycle.
Please note that clothes may retain odors if left inside the Styler for a long time after the cycle ends.
This is because odor particles remaining inside the Styler may be reabsorbed into the clothes.
Therefore, once the Styler finishes its operation, remove the clothes immediately and open the door for ventilation to prevent this.

Choosing a styling or hygiene sterilization course

To remove dusts smudged over your clothes, use the [Fine Dust] cycle.

➔ If you want to remove light dusts, then refer to the method for using the [Refresh] menu shown above.

To remove fine dusts intensely, then select the [Heavy Duty] cycle of the [Clean Sterilization] menu.
If clothes with dusts are left without care for a long time, then make sure to wash it first and then use the Styler for more effective removal of dusts.
