LG Styler - No Power

  • Troubleshooting

Causes and Symptoms

  • The Styler does not power on or turns off during operation.

Try this

Does the Styler not power on?

➔ If the Styler does not power on, test if the power socket is functioning by connecting a small electric appliance, such as a hairdryer.

If the test appliance does not operate, check if the circuit breaker has tripped, and reset it if necessary.

After removing the power outlet, connect a hair dryer to check operation.

If the test appliance operates but not the Styler, it is advised to request a service by a professional technician.

Is the Styler plugged into a power strip?

A power strip commonly used in the household is restricted to a maximum power capacity.
When the Styler, which consumes large amounts of energy, is plugged into the same power strip with other devices,
the strip's capacity can be exceeded, causing the Styler to shut down.
It is therefore advised to connect the power cord of the Styler to an exclusive outlet on the wall.
If you must use a power strip, please ensure only the Styler is connected.

Incorrect example: Connected to a power strip. Correct example: Connected to a single grounded wall outlet.
Check the maximum capacity of your power strip
The maximum capacity and the rated capacity should be written on the plug of the power strip.
If your issue remains unresolved, it is advised to request a service.
This will allow a service manager to conduct a comprehensive inspection.
