LG Styler - Troubleshooting Hanger Marks on Clothes

  • Troubleshooting

Using a regular clothes hanger instead of the dedicated Styler hanger can leave marks on the clothes.
Unwanted wrinkles may form on the back of the neck area and the extent of the effect can vary depending on the kind and size of the clothing.
For knitted wear, lingerie, and similar items, please use the shelf rather than a hanger to avoid hanger marks and misshaping of the clothes.
It is advised not to use the standard slots and the diagonal slots of the moving hanger at the same time.
Fabric damage may be caused when clothes collide with each other.
For large sized clothes, please use the diagonal slot of the moving hanger.

Use the Styler hangers

Hanger marks may form if regular hangers are used in place of dedicated Styler hangers.

Remove the shelf when hanging long clothes

Remember to remove the shelf when hanging long clothes. Particularly for men’s clothing with long sleeves, the shelf may leave marks on the sleeves.

Remove empty hangers

Empty clothes hangers shake more compared to hangers with clothes. Collision between the hanger clamp and clothes could damage the clothes.
In addition, vibration and noise can be caused by empty hangers.

Try this

When using the Refresh cycle, use the dedicated Styler hanger instead of a regular hanger.
For large sized clothes, use the diagonal slot of the moving hanger.
Remove empty hangers from the Styler before cycle operation.

Clothing damaged by using empty hangers

※ The use of regular clothes hangers and empty hangers may cause damage to the fabric due to the difference in horizontal motion, especially when the clamp is in the upright position.
