Clothing having an odor after a cycle can be caused if items were not cleaned properly, items did not completely dry, or it is time to perform maintenance.
Try This
-
Choose a Different Cycle
If odors still remain on your clothes after the [Normal] cycle, run the [Heavy] cycle or [Sanitary] cycle as they produce more steam.
-
Run an Additional Dry Cycle
Thicker items, such as coats, jeans, etc., can retain moisture after the [Refresh] cycle is complete.
Run the [Gentle Dry] cycle to remove any remaining moisture.
Note- After the cycle is complete, take clothing out immediately and leave the Styler open for air circulation.
- Leaving clothing in the Styler for long periods after the cycle is complete can cause the moisture and odors inside to be absorbed into your clothes.
-
Clean the Interior of the Styler
It is recommended to clean the interior of the Styler and is parts at least once a month to prevent odor buildup.
1Use a clean cloth to wipe each side of the Styler.
2Remove the lint filter grill located at the front side of the bottom of the Styler to remove dust.
3Run the [Normal] cycle in the [Sanitary] menu without putting any clothes inside the Styler.
4After the cycle is complete, leave the Styler open for air circulation.
-
Clean the Water Tank and Drain Tank
1Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the water tank and use a cleaning brush to clean the inside of the water tank.
2If odors remains after cleaning the water tank, clean the inside of the water tank using a disinfectant tablet such as Aquatabs.
-
