LG Styler - What Does DN1, DN2, DN3, Mean?

  • Troubleshooting

The display shows codes such as dn1, dn2 or dn3.

Causes and Symptoms

  • dn refers to the available ‘downloaded cycles’ and it is not an error code.

"dn" cycles are pre-installed, meaning that they are ready to use without having to download them from the ThinQ app.
* The available dn cycles depend on the model/production number and also on the version of ThinQ app.

Five kinds of download cycles are saved on the Styler
  • Pants Crease(*)
  • dn1 : Fur/Leather Care
  • dn2 : Static electricity removal or Suits/Uniforms
  • dn3 : Jeans
  • dn4 : Down Jacket Care

Try this

Do you want to use one of the downloaded cycles?

➔ Press the Special Care button repeatedly to select the desired downloaded cycle. Every time the button is pressed, the selection toggles in the order of

Pants Crease → Fur/Leather Care (dn1) → Suit/Uniforms (dn2) → Jeans (dn3) → Down Jacket Care (dn4).

* The below image is for an Essence(3 piece) Objet model and the available cycles vary by model.

For Essence Objet based Baron Plus model touch the Refresh button instead of Special Care.
(*) This cycle can be switched out using the ThinQ app.
(**) When the remaining time and dn illuminate in turns during cycle selection or pausing of operation, only the time will be displayed.
