I want to turn off ANC with a long press
For TONE Free models released after 2022, you can set more options for touch settings.
→ Select the setting of your choice in the touchpad settings on the TONE Free app.

On multipoint, music stops and starts playing again
For your convenience, the multipoint feature outputs the sound from any of the connected devices.
For example, you are listening to music on Device A and Device B makes a notification sound.
Device A stops playing music when Device B outputs the notification sound.
Device A plays music again when Device B stops making the notification sound.If a notification sound from your smart device disrupts you when you listen to music on your other device connected via multipoint, set your smart device to vibrate or silent mode.

I can't enter the pairing mode or perform a factory reset when my earbuds are in the case
If you can't enter the pairing mode or perform a factory reset when the earbuds are in the case, check the following options.
1. Check if Plug & Wireless is turned on.
To stay connected, you can't enter the pairing mode or perform a factory reset with a long press if Plug & Wireless is turned on.
Please try again after turning off Plug & Wireless.
2. Touch the touchpad of your earbud again or close and open the case, then try again.
3. Update your software to the latest version.

What is Adaptive ANC?
The noise-canceling performance may vary significantly depending on how earbuds fit into your ears.
Adaptive ANC (Active Noise Canceling) is a function that helps enhance the performance of your earbuds even if they are not properly fit into your ears.
After wearing the earbuds, it detects the wearing condition within a few seconds and improves your earbuds' performance.

I want to know why the Dolby Head Tracking feature reduces the usage time of my TONE Free
If you enable the Dolby Head Tracking feature, a sensor that tracks the direction of your head is turned on. And the earbuds adjust the direction of the sound as your head moves.
The usage time is shorter because your TONE Free performs additional feature.

How do I use Plug & Wireless with a USB cable?
You can use the Plug & Wireless feature via a USB cable.
If you use the Plug & Wireless feature by connecting a USB cable, you can use the microphone.
The USB audio device is displayed as ‘TONE-T90QC'.
Try this
1.Plug in the USB-C cable to the charging case.
2.Plug in the USB-A cable to the desired device.
3.Wear your earbuds.
4.Slide the Plug & Wireless mode switch to the right.
5.The indicator light on the charging case is flashing green.
6.Once the charging case and earbuds are connected, the green light turns off and the battery status of the case is displayed.

What is Snapdragon Sound?
Snapdragon Sound, which is applied to TONE-UT90Q, is a term referring to Qualcomm's high-quality Bluetooth solution and it supports aptX Adaptive.
When a device that supports aptX Adaptive is connected, it provides 24-bit 96kHz Bluetooth audio and the same quality is applied when your TONE Free uses the Plug & Wireless mode.
Snapdragon Sound or aptX Adaptive supported devices can be found on the Qualcomm website.

How do I use multipoint?
Turn on Multi-Point & Multi-Pairing on the TONE Free app to enable the multipoint feature.
When the feature is enabled, put the earbuds in the case and enter the pairing mode. Connect a new device.
In the Multi-Point & Multi-Pairing menu on the TONE Free app, more options such as adding, connecting, disconnecting, or unregistering a device, is available.
Wait! Here are more tipsFrom software version 1.10.1, when you open the case and re-connect the device on multipoint, both devices will be re-connected.
- Once the first device is connected, it starts connecting the second device.
- To connect the second device, the earbuds must be placed in the case.

Multiple devices are connected via Plug & Wireless, but no sound comes out
When using multipoint, sound comes out of the connected device that generates sound.
If you use Plug & Wireless (using an aux cable) and connect your TONE Free to a mobile phone, sound comes out of the mobile phone if you play music on your mobile phone while listening to music via Plug & Wireless.
However, if you press the Play button on other devices connected via an aux cable, such as a PC, the sound won't be switched to Plug & Wireless.
If you stop playing music on the mobile phone, the sound output will be switched to Plug & Wireless again.

I put the earbuds in the charging case and closed the case, but it is still updating
For TONE Free models released in 2022, it keeps updating even if you put the earbuds in the case and close the case. It will be disconnected once the update is completed.
For product stability, it is recommended to leave the case open according to the guide to stay connected during the update.

The indicator light on the charging case is blue (green), but it says the earbuds have no battery
1.When you open the case while the earbuds are in the case, the indicator light indicates the battery level of the earbuds. If it's red, you need to place them in the charging case and charge them.
2.If you close the case while the earbuds are inside, the indicator light indicates the battery level of the charging case.
If it's red, you need to charge the charging case using a USB cable or wireless charger.In addition, you can check the battery status of your TONE Free on the TONE Free app.

The volume of my earbuds decreases when I put them in the case and re-connect
At a Glance
The TONE Free models released in 2022 include a function that protects a user's hearing by lowering the volume when it is re-connected.
If the volume is less than 85dB, it keeps the volume. If it is higher than 85dB, the volume is adjusted to level 10 out of level 15.
Safety Information:
If the volume of is too high, it may lead to hearing loss.
Set the volume to an appropriate level. If you keep listening to a high-pitched sound, it may sound normal as your ears get used to it over time.If you feel ringing in your ears or experience muffled hearing, stop listening and have your hearing tested.

- Reduce the time you spend listening to loud music

You can set Dolby Atmos on the TONE Free app, and the specifications displayed in the app are different depending on whether your smart device supports Dolby Atmos or not.
1.For smart devices that do not support Dolby Atmos, you can select the Virtual Sound option.
2.For smart devices equipped with Dolby Atmos, the virtual sound option is not applied because it is already applied.

My TONE Free makes noise and volume is too low.
If the small holes and speaker holes that help the air circulation in the earbuds are clogged with foreign substances (oil, sweat), the sound may be disrupted, or it may create noise.

Clean the speaker hole and air circulation hole in the earbuds regularly to prevent them from being clogged with foreign substances (sebum, earwax, etc.).

My Tone Free is still connected to my Bluetooth device
If foreign substances such as sweat, water, cosmetics, etc. are stuck in the earbuds or charging case, Bluetooth may be still connected even if you place the earbuds into the charging case and close it.

- Bluetooth is not disconnected.

Gently wipe the area where the earbuds are placed in the charging case with a tissue or dry cloth and put the earbuds back in the case.
