At a Glance
Several different Aspect Ratio options have been developed and integrated into your LG TV in order to best match and/or reproduce the video image for optimal viewing performance.
Note
- The picture settings will change when switching between inputs (HDMI, Live TV, etc.) unless “Apply to All Inputs” is selected.
- Built in apps on the TV, Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. will always change back to the to the default settings upon exiting the app or powering off the TV.
Try This
[WebOS 24 / WebOS 23]
1 Turn on the TV and press the button on your LG TV remote.
2Select [Gear Icon] to open the Settings menu.
3Select [Picture].
4Then select select [Aspect Ratio].
5Choose the desired aspect ratio from the dropdown list.
[WebOS 22 / WebOS6.0]
Press the button on the remote control and select [All Settings] → [Picture] → [Aspect Ratio] → [User Selection].
[WebOS 5.0 or older]
Press the button on the remote control and select [All Settings] → [Picture] → [Aspect Ratio Settings] → [Aspect Ratio].
