  • Troubleshooting

At a Glance

If you are using an LG sound bar, it is recommended you use an optical digital cable to connect it to your TV. If you want to connect your TV and the sound bar via Bluetooth (wirelessly), please check if your TV supports LG SoundSync.
Only TVs supporting LG SoundSync can be connected to LG sound bars via Bluetooth (wirelessly).
For models before 2016, please enter Advanced Settings to pair your sound bar with the TV.

Try this

After connecting the TV to a sound bar using an optical digital cable, select [All Settings] in the Settings menu.
Press the [Sound] menu and select [Sound Out].
Select [LG Sound Sync (Optical)].
If the sound bar screen menu displays the message [LG OPT], the connection between the TV and the sound bar has been successfully made.
