LG TV - How to Connect a USB ODD to a LG TV

Does your ODD support TV connection?

➔ Connect the ODD to the TV's USB port.

Connecting an ODD to the TV's USB port 
1. Connect an ODD that supports Smart TV to the TV's USB port.

2. [Switch the ODD to TV Connection Mode]
After connecting the ODD, press and hold the Open button for more than 2 seconds with the ODD tray (door) open to switch to the TV Connection Mode.

3. Insert a CD/DVD, press the External Input button on the TV remote, and select USB.

4. Select USB in Photos & Videos.

5. Select the folder or file you wish to play.

Due to compatibility issues, some DVDs, CDs, and Blu-rays may not work with the TV, even when they work fine with PCs.
Some protected CDs or DVDs require a decoder for decoding their encrypted codes, but our TV products do not support this decoding feature.
