If you have a digital or broadcast antenna connected directly to your LG TV, you can use the caption function of your LG TV when viewing the Live TV input.

- Caption service availability may vary depending on the broadcaster. You can use closed captioning in channels or programs that support the function.
- The caption function is not supported with a set-top box.
Captioning in 2023 WebOS 23
Press the button on your remote control and select [All Settings] → [General] → [Accessibility] → [Closed Caption] → [On].
1 Press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
In the quick start menu, select the [Settings] icon.
2 Select [General], then select [Accessibility].
3 Scroll down and select [Closed Caption], then toggle [On] or [Off].
Captioning in 2022 webOS 22
1 After turning on the TV, press the [Settings] button on the remote control.
From [Settings], select [All Settings].
2 Select [General] and then [Accessibility].
3 Select [Closed Caption].
4 Set [Closed Caption] to On.

1 After turning on the TV, press the [Settings] button on the remote control.
From [Settings], select [All Settings].
2 Select [Closed Caption] in [Accessibility].
3 Set [Closed Caption] to On.
