LG TV - How to Reset My LG Smart TV

Problems may arise with your LG TV apps, internet connection, or settings that make you want to reset the TV and start over. A factory reset reverts all settings on the TV to the way they were out of the box.

Try this

To reset your LG TV, select your TV WebOS version below and follow the instructions:

• WebOS 22 (2022 and after)

  Go to Settings > All Settings > Support

  Select [Reset to Initial Settings]

  Select [OK]

• WebOS 6.0 (2021)

  Go to Settings > All Settings > Support

  Select [Reset to Initial Settings]

  Select [OK]

• WebOS 5.0 (2020)

  Go to Settings > All Settings > Support

  Select [Reset to Initial Settings]

  Select [OK]

• WebOS 4.0 or 4.5 (2018-2019)

  Go to Settings > All Settings > General

  Select [Reset to Initial Settings]

  Select [OK]

• WebOS 3.5 or older (2017 and earlier)

  Go to Settings > All Settings > General

  Select [Reset to Initial Settings]

  Select [OK]
