If you would like to set the on/of timer on your LG TV, first check that the time is set correctly on the TV. If the time is wrong or shows incorrect time information, an error may occur when setting the power on/off timer.

How to set a [Power-On/Off] timer
1. Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.
2. Select [System] in [General].
3. Select [Time & Timer].
4. Select [Timers].

1. Select [Power on Timer].
2. Change to [On] if it is [Off].

- If the device automatically turns off at a certain time: Try setting the Power-off time to [Off].
If it is not set to off, the timer may trigger the power-off, which may be mistaken for a malfunction.
Setting the timer to off: Select Menu (Detailed Settings) → Time → Power off time → Off. - If the device automatically turns on at a certain time: Try setting the Power-on time to [Off].
You can use it as a morning call or set a power-on timer.

Setting the TV to turn off after 4 hours
This prevents the TV from being turned on for a prolonged time in the absence of a user after the power-on function is activated.
