Depending on the menu of the supported app, the camera and microphone may have separate ON/OFF functions.
Try this
Connect your Smart Cam to your TV.
The cam attaches to the back of the TV with magnets and can be angled up and down.
If you don't feel the magnetic pull when placing the cam on top of the TV, the cam won't stay put.
If that is the case, stick the enclosed magnetic sticker on the top back of the TV. Then attach the Smart Cam.

➔ Attach the Smart Cam to the sticker and check for the magnetic pull.
Connect the attached Smart Cam to your TV's USB port using the included USB cable.
Organize your cables with the included wiring organizer stickers.
Set up your Smart Cam
① Press the Home button on your remote to launch the Home screen.
② Use your remote control's directional keys or pointer to launch [Home Hub].
③ Launch [Camera] from the Home Hub menu.
④ Select [Yes] on the app launch notification and the camera screen will appear on the TV.
⑤ Select the More actions button in the upper right corner of the camera screen using the remote control to bring up a menu of options.
⑥ [ Automatic Face Recognition ] is a feature that allows the cam to recognize a human face, whether it be a person or an object and centers the face on the screen.
⑦ [Camera Screen Position Settings] is a function that allows you to set the position of the screen and zoom in and out of the screen.

You can utilize the camera through apps downloaded from the LG Content Store, such as video conferencing or Home Dance
Apps are available for download via [APPS] on the home screen.
