Try This
➔ To enable captions, you can follow the steps below
- If you are using an indoor/outdoor antenna or a wired broadcasting antenna directly connected to the TV's antenna port, you can use the caption function.
- The caption function is not supported with a set-top box.
※ The instructions may differ by model.
Opening [Caption] in Settings
➔ Captioning in [2022 webOS22]
1. Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.
2. Select [General] and then [Accessibility].
3. Select [Closed Caption].
4. Set [Closed Caption] to On.
➔ Captioning in [2019 webOS4.5]
1. Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.
2. Select [Closed Caption] in [Accessibility].
3. Set [Closed Caption] to On.
Smart TV (WEB OS 14 or later)
➔ Select Home → Settings → Advanced Settings → Accessibility → Closed Caption → On.
Smart TV (NETCAST)
➔ Select Home (or Smart) → Settings → General → Closed Caption → On.
General TV
➔ Select Menu → Settings → General → Closed Caption → On.
[2021 WebOS6.0] Press the button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [General] → [Accessibility] → [Closed Caption] → [On].
[2019 WebOS4.5] Press the button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Accessibility] → [Closed Caption] → [On].
[2018 WebOS4.0] Press the button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Accessibility] → [Closed Caption] → [On].
[2017 WebOS3.5] Press the button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Accessibility] → [Closed Caption] → [On].
※ If your remote control does not have the [ ] button, press the Home [ ] button, and select Settings [ ] on the screen.
