Once you have removed the batteries from the remote and the problem resolves, the remote needs to be repaired or replaced.
Channels received via a set-top box are changed by a signal from the set-top box remote control.
So, if set-top box channels change automatically, please check malfunctioning of the set-top box or set-top box remote control with your subscription provider.
