[LG TV] Using your TV’s Smart features with the remote / How to install, delete apps / Troubleshooting common errors

  • This guide covers ways to self-resolve issues that may occur while using the TV’s smart features.
    If the issue persists even after taking the measures described in this guide, please contact LG Electronics Customer Service.
  • For network problems, you may need to contact your Internet service provider first.
  • Smart features that involve executing the TV apps through the home screen may not work smoothly on TVs purchased before 2016.
  • Remote controls of other devices, such as a set-top box, etc. cannot be used to control smart features. Be sure to distinguish it from the TV remote control.
  • The TV is a different product from a mobile phone. Only apps supported by the TV can be installed through the Content Store or Apps card in the home menu.
    Apps that do not appear in the search result cannot be installed and used on the TV.
  • Apps supported by the TV may vary by region of residence. You can check the supported apps on the LG Content Store homepage.
  • Some of the apps for the TV cannot be deleted.
