Water-free drying
The recent models of washer-dryer combos utilize a water-free drying system, which requires significantly less water and time than older models. This water-free drying system involves discharging steam through the drain hose and into the sewer system.
If some amount of water remains in the drain hose due to incomplete water drainage, steam cannot be expelled.
This may result in tapping or grinding noises as well as poor drying performance.
For effective drying performance, an uninterrupted flow of steam through the drain hose needs to be ensured, and water must not accumulate inside the hose. This can be achieved by gently lowering the drain hose, ensuring it does not form a U-shape (U-trap).
General drying system
Washer/dryer combos use a small amount of water for drying.
Overloading the unit may result in degraded drying performance.
When drying thick clothes, folded parts may not dry well.

Make sure the drain hose descends smoothly to the floor without any bends. The descended hose should lie flat on the ground. Be aware of any shelves, detergent dispensers, or similar obstacles that could obstruct the drain hose.
1. When connecting the drain hose to the drain hole, the hose should lie flat on the ground so that a U-trap does not form.
2. If the formation of a U-trap is unavoidable, make sure it does not exceed a height of 6cm/2.36in.
If the hose is installed too high, the drying performance may not be satisfactory.

➔ Open the faucet to allow cold water supply.
Water is necessary for condensing the steam generated when drying takes place.
In addition, check whether the cold and hot water hoses are switched. If hot water is supplied, the efficiency of the condensation duct may drop. So, please ensure that the cold and hot water hoses are connected correctly.
➔ Open the door of the washer and locate the sticker that reads “Fill up to this line”.
Make sure to load laundry below the sticker line.
The drying capacity is smaller than the washing capacity.
If you load too much laundry, it may not fully dry or drying may take too long.
Make sure to unfold thick clothes before loading them into the unit.
