LG Washer - How LG High Efficiency Top Loaders Work

[Narrator]
  • LG's top-load washers feature innovative technologies that deliver outstanding wash performance while increasing energy efficiency.

  • In this short video we're going to show you how LG's high-efficiency top-load washer works to keep your clothes clean and beautiful.

  • Unlike standard load washers, you might notice that LG's washer does not have an agitator.

  • Instead LG uses a high-efficiency impeller, our six motion technology combines a variety of agitation motions for outstanding performance and versatility.

  • LG's top load washer is gentler on clothes. it has a larger top capacity and all while cleaning more efficiently than a standard agitator washer.

  • One thing you might notice right away as you're using your washer is that it really uses less water.

  • Unlike standard agitator washers where clothes have to be soaking in a tub of water, newer technology makes it possible for the wash and rinse process to be far more efficient.

  • Meaning that you're not going to see the tub fill up with as much water, plus water does not mean that your clothes are not being thoroughly cleaned.

  • During the wash cycle LG washers use rapid drum movement alongside powerful water jets to really get clothes clean.

  • The smart rinse jet spray system forces water to penetrate through and into the close as the tub spins for quick and thorough rinsing.

  • So what makes LG's top load washer a high-efficiency washer.

  • Unlike standard washers high-efficiency washers operate on low water wash and rinse cycles which makes them ultra-efficient.

  • On average, high-efficiency washers use only 20 to 66 percent of the water typically used in a standard washer.

  • Because high-efficiency machines work differently, you're going to need to use a specially formulated high efficiency detergent to deliver the results you need.

  • Use the proper amount of detergent by checking the manufacturer recommendations. Keep in mind that with high efficiency detergent you only need to use a small amount.

  • Too much detergent can cause excessive sudsing pour wash performance and can reduce energy savings.
