If the SideKick™ washing machine is installed in a place with high humidity, such as a bathroom, or if water penetrates the control panel during use, the buttons and display may malfunction.
- Some buttons do not operate when pressed or some buttons operate even though they are not touched.
- When the power is turned on, the display is lit or some numbers appear broken.
Try This
Is the protective film still attached to the control panel?
➔ Remove the protective film.
If the protective film remains, the buttons may not be pressed due to interference.
Is there moisture inside the control panel?
➔ Keep the installation site dry, and wait until any moisture inside has dried.
The button actions may not be recognized due to the moisture.
If the problem persists when you operate the product a few days after keeping the installation site dry, or if the buttons are deformed and the display numbers appear abnormal, the washer should be checked by an LG Electronics service technician.
