Check if the cover of your washing machine is open.
If there is a dE error and the washing machine cover is open, your machine will not operate normally.
When you start washing, your machine will not supply water but will slowly spin the tub to weigh your laundry.
This is intentional to ensure the washing water efficiency matches the load of laundry.
New models will operate for about 40 seconds without water supply to weigh the laundry when you power on and press [Start].
Once the laundry weight is detected, the water supply turns on. This is a normal operation, so you can use it with an easy mind.
Your washing machine then senses the weight of your laundry by spinning the tub for about 40 seconds.
Older models that came without this weighing function dispense water immediately.
So, you may be surprised by newer models and their delayed water supply.
Pressing the Start button for weighing creates a clicking noise when the tub and the motor are engaged.
