Connecting a drain hose to the washing machine
Connection of drain hoses differs with whether or not a hose clip is used.
You can connect it to the right or left side of the washing machine as required.
➔ Drain hose with a hose clip
1. Check if the hose clip and the spring are connected.
2. Place the drain hose to the side that you want to use, push the spring side of the elbow hose firmly into the drain hole.
3. To change the direction of the drain hose, pull out the hose elbow.
Place the drain hose to the side that you want to use and push the elbow hose firmly into the drain hole of the washing machine.
You can adjust it as you want.
➔ Drain hose without a hose clip
1. Check if the spring is inserted.
2. Face the drain hose toward the drain hole and push it firmly into the drain hole of the washing machine.
Extending drain hoses
You can extend the drain hose by connecting a drain hose extension to the drain hose that is connected to the washing machine.
You can buy drain hoses and hose extensions at a nearby service center or shop.
1. Connect the extension hose by pushing it into the existing drain hose.
2. Make sure that the joint has no leakage and then wrap it up using tape.
3. Secure the tape wrapping well as its end might peel off.
