[LG washing machine water supply hose] [Screw type] I would like to know how to connect the water supply hose.

  • Troubleshooting

Do you wish to connect the water supply hose of the washing machine to a faucet? Do you wish to know how to extend the water supply hose if it is too short?

A water supply hose is a hose used to connect a washing machine to a faucet.
If you move your washing machine and install it in a new location, the water supply hose can be connectedly easily only using a Phillips screwdriver and a flat-head screwdriver.
The connection method may differ depending on the type of water supply hose and the shape of the faucet. Please check them first.
If you wish to extent the water supply hose because it is too short, purchase a water supply hose suitable for your washing machine model at [Accessories/Consumables] at the LG Electronics homepage or the LG Electronics Service Center near you.

Check the following details

Round-type faucet
Connecting the water supply hose to the round faucet (Removing the coupling device from the hose → Loosening the screw of the coupling device → Removing the guide plate → Guide plate → Connecting the coupling device → Tightening the screw of the coupling device → Connecting the coupling device from the hose)
1. First, separate the coupling device of the water supply hose and the hose.
If they are not separated, they may not be tightened completely and water may leak after assembly.
2. Turn the 4 screws on the coupling device anti-clockwise to loosen them adequately so that they fit the circumference of the faucet.
If the faucet is too big, take out the guide plate and loosen the screws.
3. Fit the coupling device to the faucet.
At this time, insert it until the rubber packing inside the coupling device is in contact with the faucet.
4. Turn the 4 screws on the coupling device clockwise and tighten them fully.
5. Check the threads on the end of the water supply hose and the coupling device and turn them clockwise to tighten them.
When the rubber packing is reached, turn 1 or 2 rounds more to tighten firmly.
Screw-type faucet
Connect the water supply hose on the top of the screw
1. First, remove the coupling device from the water supply hose.
A coupling device is not used when connecting to a screw-type faucet.
2. Check the threads on the end of the water supply hose and the coupling device and turn them clockwise to tighten them.
When the rubber packing is reached, turn 1 or 2 rounds more to tighten firmly.
