※ It is possible to hide the background image and text that appear on a ‘No Signal’ screen. Please note that not all models support this function.
Appearance of the No Signal screen
- If an external device (set-top box, game console, OTT device) that receives video signals is not connected to the TV, or is powered off, the TV will only be powered on without picture or sound output.
- Even if the external device is powered on, there will be no sound or picture output from the TV if the incorrect external input is selected.
- The No Signal screen appears in the above cases. A setting to hide the text and background image of the No Signal screen is available.

How to hide the No Signal message
When the No Signal screen appears, press the red button on your TV remote control to hide the text.
Press the red button on your remote control again to unhide the text.
How to remove the background image of the No Signal screen
Press the Mute button on your remote control three consecutive times.
From the menu that appears, use the pointer or directional keys and the wheel (OK) button on your remote control to disable the setting ‘No Signal Image’.
To unhide the background image, enable the ‘No Signal Image’ setting.
If the menu that appears after pressing the Mute button three consecutive times does not include the setting for [No Signal Image], go to All Settings.
