If your LG monitor has no picture or no power when you turn it on, some simple troubleshooting can get it back up and running
Try This
-
Confirm the power LED is turned on.
Even if turned off in settings, the monitor’s power LED should illuminate briefly when the power button is pressed indicating power is being received.
-
Test the outlet
Power outlets can sometimes malfunction. Unplug the monitor and test the outlet with a cellphone charger or lamp to ensure it’s still working. If using a surge protector, try plugging the monitor directly into the wall outlet.
-
Confirm the power cord is fully connected
The power cord can sometimes become loose if the monitor was moved or cleaned. Ensure it is fully connected to the wall outlet and the rear of the monitor.
-
Perform a Hard Reset
1 Disconnect all connected cables (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) and the power cord
2 With the items disconnected, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds
3 Reconnect cables and the power cord.
4 Press the joystick to power on the unit.
