To verify if your refrigerator door qualifies for Courtesy Cosmetic Coverage we need to check a few steps.


  1. Is the refrigerator more than 7 days old (from the date of delivery)?

    Yes No
  2. Unfortunately, due to the amount of time that has passed your unit does not qualify for Courtesy Cosmetic Coverage. Courtesy Coverage is available to assist customers with damage that may be due to manufacturing defects. Units that qualify must be new purchases reported within 7 days of delivery.

  3. Was the unit damaged upon delivery?

    Yes No
  4. Unfortunately, your unit does not qualify for Courtesy Cosmetic Coverage. Courtesy Coverage is available to assist customers with damage that may be due to manufacturing defects. Damages caused by delivery, installation, or by the consumer does not qualify. Please check with the dealer from where the refrigerator was purchased for additional options.

  5. Was the unit professionally installed?

    Yes No
  6. Have you removed the plastic?

    Yes No
  7. Unfortunately, your unit does not qualify for Courtesy Cosmetic Coverage. This is only available for units that are Professionally installed.

  8. Please remove the plastic. Do you still see damage on the door?

    Yes No
