LG NeoChef™ Microwave Oven - Troubleshooting Issues
[Narrator]-
Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help prevent common issues when using your Neo chef microwave oven.
-
If you plug in your microwave oven and it does not work properly, make sure the unit is plugged into a dedicated power outlet.
-
Check the circuit breaker, and check to see that the power going to the outlet is working properly.
-
If you notice sparking or arcing your cookware may not be safe for used in the microwave oven.
-
Be sure all cookware and containers are labeled microwave-safe.
-
Do not use foil containers, or china, or cookware with metal rims.
-
If you notice your food is unevenly cooked or undercooking, follow these suggestions:
-
Test cookware to make sure it is microwave safe
-
Defrost food completely before cooking
-
Use correct cook time and power level
-
Turn or stir food while cooking
-
Make sure ventilation ports are not blocked
-
Do not cook without the glass tray.
-
-
If you notice your food is overcooking, try reducing the cook time or power level.
-
It is normal for steam to come out of the microwave oven vent.
-
As with any other microwave oven, it is possible to overcook food in the microwave oven to the point that it produces smoke or even fire, damaging the oven cavity.
-
Always monitor food while it is cooking in the microwave oven.
-
Caution!
-
Never operate the microwave oven while it is empty or without the glass tray.
-
Never allow children to use the microwave oven unsupervised.
