LG SHOWCASES OPTIMIZED AIR SOLUTIONS FOR BUSINESS EFFICIENCY IN OMAN

Advanced Air Solutions Designed to Perform in a Range of Environments

Muscat, Oman – Apr. 29, 2019 – LG Electronics (LG) recently unveiled its latest HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems at its Innovative Air Solutions technical seminar.

Held at the Grand Hyatt in Muscat, the exclusive event gave key consultants, developers, clients and local businesses the opportunity to experience how LG’s advanced technologies can help drive efficiency and reduce operating costs.

With expanding economies and increasing demand for ventilation, heating and cooling solutions, the HVAC market in the Middle East and Africa expected to generate USD $10.1 billion in revenue by 2022. LG believes that whilst such expansion is positive from an industry standpoint, it also signifies the need for more advanced technologies which can strike the balance between functionality and responsible consumption.

Oman Vision 2040 positions economic and environment sustainability as national priorities. In accordance with the national agenda, manufacturers, importers and distributors will soon have to abide by new energy standards and regulations in Oman.

At the technical seminar, LG displayed its future-ready inverter lineup, including the Multi V 5 – the company’s flagship Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system. Designed to minimize efficiency loss, the Multi V 5 has a Dual Sensing Control, recognizing humidity and temperature to provide economical and comfortable operation. Its Ultimate Inverter Compressor also works to improve efficiency and is built to enhance compressor reliability. LG has won several local projects, installing its VRF systems at locations such as Buraimi University, Al Mouj Villas and Jabal Akhdar Resort.

Attendees at the technical seminar had the opportunity to experience LG’s Floor Standing, Cassette Type and Ducted Split Air Conditioners, fitted with Smart Inverter technology. Smart Inverter compressors are designed to maximize user comfort, adjusting output to keep a consistent room temperature.

LG’s DUALCOOL Residential Air Conditioners (RAC) were also on display, with advanced DUAL Invertor Compressor technology, designed to save energy and cool faster than conventional models.

In addition, the LG DUALCOOL Split Air Conditioner offers high-performance cooling, with the use LG’s advanced DUAL Inverter Compressor, saving energy and cooling faster than a conventional model. For larger buildings and facilities, LG’s chilled water central air conditioning solutions are designed to provide high-performance, using Oil-Free Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chillers.
