ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 7, 2025 – Education technology leader LG Electronics will introduce its new Google-compatible CreateBoard Pro™ Interactive Digital Board at the 2025 Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), Jan. 15-17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Featuring the LG built-in ELGi AI system, the CreateBoard Pro is designed to save time and enhance productivity by streamlining tasks. It offers key features in recognition, prediction, and translation, making it a valuable tool for users across various educational settings. At FETC, the CreateBoard Pro will be showcased alongside the LG suite of commercial display and information technology solutions, aimed at empowering K-12 schools to seamlessly integrate interactive, high-engagement tools into Google-centric classrooms.
“LG education solutions bring lessons to life for teachers and students by empowering them to create, manage, and share content while enabling school administrators to maximize the utility of the Google leading cloud education platform,” said LG Electronics USA’s Education Director Victoria Sanville. “The LG CreateBoard Pro Interactive Digital Board with Google Mobile™ services is a strategic new addition to our growing portfolio of edtech solutions.”
Also compatible with the Windows® operating system and available in 86-inch, 75-inch and 65-inch screen sizes, the new CreateBoard Pro series is designed to help teachers create, manage and share lesson plans and other educational content. Featuring built-in Android 13™ software and the LG software suite, the CreateBoard Pro boasts a native resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 (UHD), brightness of 400 nits (Typ.) and 50-point multitouch interaction.
The LG CreateBoard Pro enables users to seamlessly integrate with the Google ecosystem by connecting their Gmail™ accounts with additional access to the Google Play™ store, where they can download a wide range of applications, including education related games and tools for a deep, rich educational experience. OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) slots at the back of CreateBoard Pro displays let users mount OPS modules without having to connect to an external desktop, allowing them to sign into their ChromeOS™ or Windows OS accounts for access to custom settings, folders, apps and more.
In addition, the LG CreateBoard Share feature establishes a seamless, wireless and stable teaching environment, without the need for extra cables or connections. Teachers can now share their screens without the need to move around and plug in cables, simplifying the process of sharing education materials with students. The daisy-chain function allows teachers to display content across multiple CreateBoard Pro displays, and the touchback feature permits teachers to take back control at the touch of a button if a student shares something unauthorized on a display.
The LG zero-gap bonding technology helps to deliver a precise, silky-smooth, 50-point, multi-touch experience on the CreateBoard Pro, enabling teachers to fingertip-interact with content directly on the board — writing, drawing, zooming and rotating in a way that mirrors the familiarity of using an old-fashioned teaching white board.
The CreateBoard Pro quadraphonic sound speakers provide three-dimensional, clear and loud sound while a built-in microphone array, located at the top of the board, is ideal for recording or taking notes of a lesson.
“The LG CreateBoard Pro is designed to easily create, manage and share content,” added Sanville. “This new, three-screen-size interactive display solution provides schools with virtually everything they need to educate and engage students, and, with Google certification, the CreateBoard Pro offers flexibility alongside an outstanding user experience.”
In addition to the debut of the new 86-inch CreateBoard Pro, the LG FETC 2025 exhibit will feature two 75-inch CreateBoard® electronic interactive whiteboards, a 136-inch all-in-one Direct View LED screen, digital signage displays and LG Gram SuperSlim® laptops – as well as the Kokomo24/7® school safety software platform as part of LG Electronics USA’s collaboration with Kokomo Solutions, Inc.
