Various camera modes

Night view

You can take vivid and clear night photos.

While taking a photo, hold the device steady.

You can adjust photo brightness by dragging the slide bar left or right.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277524.png Camera.
  2. Tap More > 250448.png Night view.

 

With Night view, you can take vivid and clear photos even at night.  

 

Panorama

You can create a panoramic photo by moving the camera in one direction to photograph and stitch continuous shots of a wide view.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277551.png Camera.
  2. Tap More > 275534.png Panorama.
  3. Tap capture icon Capture and then slowly move the camera in one direction.
  1. Tap Stop button Stop to stop capturing the panoramic.

 

To take a panorama photo, slowly move the device continuously in either direction following the guideline. 

Story shot

You can merge the background photo taken by the rear camera and a selfie taken by the front camera.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277564.png Camera.
  2. Tap More > 시네 비디오 아이콘 Story shot.
  3. Tap capture icon Capture to take a photo.

 

To create a story shot, take a photo to use as the background, then the front camera will automatically take a selfie to insert. 

NOTE

Tap 275996.png Gallery to use a photo stored in Gallery as background.

Slo-mo

You can create an entertaining video by changing the moving speeds of subjects in your video. This feature allows you to record a video at a faster rate of speed and then play it at the standard speed so that the video appears to be slowed down.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277588.png Camera.
  2. Tap More > slow motion icon Slo-mo.
  3. Tap 186139.png Record and record a video.
  4. Tap 185228.png Stop to end the video recording.

 

Record rapid movements such as skiing in slow motion. 

 

Flash Jump-Cut

Photos taken at a regular interval are saved as a GIF file.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277605.png Camera.
  2. Tap More >
    221796.png
    Flash Jump-Cut.

NOTES

  • The flash automatically turns on while taking photos.
  • The current shot and the total number of shots are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
  • All taken photos are saved as GIF files only.
  • The GIF speed or image orders cannot be changed.

Cine shot

You can record a moment and make a video with only a part of the scene in motion.

You can record a movie like video.

Food

You can optimize the quality of your food photos or videos using the color slide bar and white balance.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277621.png Camera.
  2. Tap More > 275609.png Food.
  3. To take a photo, tap capture icon Capture. To record a video, tap record icon Record.

 

Use the color slide bar located left to the shutter button to adjust the white balance. 

YouTube Live

You can record a video and directly upload to YouTube.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277647.png Camera.
  2. Tap More > 275962.png YouTube Live.

To use this feature, you need to verify your phone number.

NOTE

YouTube Live is available only when your device is connected to the Internet. If you use mobile data, you may be charged for data usage, depending on your pricing plan.

Time-lapse

You can take a sequence of frames at set intervals to record changes that take place slowly over time, such as cloud movements, celestial motions, traffic, and more.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277659.png Camera.
  2. Tap More > Time-lapse icon Time-lapse.
  3. Tap 275676.png Record and record a video.
  4. Tap Stop button Stop to end the video recording.

NOTE

While recording a Time-lapse, voices are not recorded.

 

Time-lapse 

360 Panorama

You can create a 360° panorama photo by moving the camera in one direction.

  1. Tap Home button Home > 277670.png Camera.
  2. Tap More > 252610.png 360° Panorama.
  3. Tap capture icon Capture and then slowly move the camera in one direction.
