Connecting your LG dryer to the ThinQ® app gives you the ability to access and manage various features and settings of the unit from your smartphone.
Try This
Device:
See the last 2 cycles used. Tap on one of the logged cycles to see setting details and energy usage.
1 Select the Dryer device card in the ThinQ app.
2 Tap on [Recently Used Cycles].
3 Select the desired cycle you want to view.
Along with cycles provided with your dryer using LG ThinQ will allow you to download additional cycles that can be customized to meet your drying needs
1 Select the Dryer device card in the ThinQ app.
2 Tap on [Download the cycles].
3 Select the desired cycle, then select [Download Cycle].
4 Once the download is completed, you can find the downloaded cycle for use in the ThinQ app or on the product itself.
Useful Features:
View a list of cycles downloaded previously for use on your dryer, or select one to replace the current downloaded cycle.
1 Select the Dryer device card in the ThinQ app.
2 On the bottom of the screen, tap [Useful Features].
3 Select [Manage Download Cycle].
With all the cycles available to choose from, you may end up with a favorites list of your own. You can add up to 6 cycles to your favorites list to easily select from the cycles you use the most.

3 Select [Manage Favorites].
Energy Monitoring allows you to track usage levels for the day, week, month, or year.
1Select the Dryer device card in the ThinQ app.
2On the bottom of the screen, tap [Useful Features].
3Select [Energy Monitoring].

Smart Diagnosis allow you to perform a diagnosis of your dryer from your smartphone to identify any malfunctions with the unit.
1 Select the Dryer device card in the ThinQ app.
2 On the bottom of the screen, tap [Useful Features].
3 Select [Smart Diagnosis].
4 Follow the on screen prompts to complete.
