Have you connected your portable AC to the LG ThinQ app? Want to learn more about what you can do? This article will show you the features and settings you can use with your connected smart appliance.
- From the ThinQ main page tap on the Portable AC card.
- Once the card loads, tap the more button
in the upper right hand corner to access the features and settings for your Portable AC.

Set Temperature
You can use the large dial on the portable AC card to raise and lower the set temperature to your desired level.

Fan Speed
This setting will allow you to toggle the fan speed from low to high.

Air Flow Mode
Air flow mode allows you to toggle up and down swing to circulate the air.

Schedule
Using the schedule feature allows you to set a routine for when the AC will run.

Filter Management
Filter management allows you to see the status of the air conditioner’s filter. Use this as a guide on when the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Smart Diagnosis
Here you can perform a diagnosis of your machine right from within the ThinQ app. This can be useful to help troubleshoot some issues you might have with your smart appliance. Depending on the product you may be able to perform Wi-Fi diagnosis or an audible diagnosis. Press get started and follow the instructions that appear in the app.

Settings
Here you can control general settings of your connected portable AC.
- Edit Nickname - Useful if you have two appliances. You can give each one a custom nickname to easily distinguish between them.
- Location - You can assign an appliance to a specific room in your home. This can also be done by choosing manage rooms in the app settings.
- Temperature Unit - Allows you to swap between Fahrenheit or Celsius.
- Change Network - Use this setting to connect to a different network.
- Software Version - View the current installed software of your appliance.
- Delete Product - Select this option to remove the product from the ThinQ app.
